Junior Ranger Day
When: June 9, 2018
Where: La Cueva Picnic Area at Dripping Springs
Time: 5:00pm to 10:00pm
Calling all kids ages 5-12 ( and their families)! During this fun-filled day, you'll be on a mission to complete a series of tasks to earn your esteemed Junior Ranger pin. Expert scientists will lead kids in activities including birdwatching, hiking, plant-pressing, animal identification, and much more! Hike with BLM rangers on the Arroyo Trail at 6:00 pm and 6:30 pm. At the end of the day, there will be campfire and song circle complete with s'mores. Start the summer off right by becoming an official Junior Ranger! There are restrooms and water available on site. In honor of National Get Outdoors Day, this event is absolutely fee-free!
